Buckley's DM Decongestant Liquid (Cough & Cold)
Fast acting relief for up to 6 hours from dry, hacking coughs and cold symptoms such as nasal and sinus congestion. Directions: To be taken every 6 hours. Adults: 1 to 2 teaspoons (5 to 10 mL). Children 6-12: 1 teaspoon (5 mL). Children 2-6: 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL). Children under 2: consult a physician. Maximum 4 doses/day. If preferred, mix with equal parts honey. Each teaspoonful (5 mL) contains: 12.5 mg Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide and 30 mg Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough worsens, lasts more than 7 days, or is accompanied by high fever, consult a physician. If you have chronic lung disease, shortness of breath, persistent or chronic cough, asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma, prostatic enlargement or if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult a physician before using this product. Do not use this product if you are now taking a prescription drug for high blood pressure or a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains an MAOI, consult a physician before taking this product. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control centre immediately. Store at room temperature. |
